My Thoughts:
I’m so excited to be back in Lawton Ridge! This group of friends is one of my favorites and I have loved reading each couple’s love story. Forcing You Away is a fabulous slow burn filled with just the right amount of intrigue to keep you glued to the pages from start to finish.
It’s a brother’s best friend, roommates to lovers, small town romance that will leave you begging for more! Seriously the ending of this book is hands down the cliffiest cliffhanger Kennedy Fox has ever given us.
From the previous duets in The Ex-Con Series, I expected Archer to be protective, and I absolutely adored how cared for his sister, his niece and especially Everleigh. Of course Everleigh has been a prominent character in this series and has always been a little more wild and carefree than her friends. She’s caring and loyal, but also sassy as hell. Archer is the perfect match for Everleigh. He’s the clam to her storm. The big spoon to her little spoon. They become each other’s soft place to land at the end of a crazy day, and its perfection! They both tried to keep their distance like Tyler asked, but as their friendship grew their chemistry was undeniable.
Will their pasts keep them from a happily ever after? Only time and the next book will tell!
