Thoughts: This is one of those books that I just didn’t connect with from the start. The book starts up not leaving the best impression of JJ….he’s a bit callous, egotistical, and the writing is a bit graphic for the beginning of a book for me. It totally turned me off from the start. JJ’s character, his reactions, his personality…it just didn’t gel at all. Just wasn’t the right book for me.
