Spring Break Fun + giveaway

It is spring break here in Vegas and it is the first spring break that I have had to work in years. To say that I am a little bummed is an understatement. I always looked forward to a week of nothing but hanging with my kids and catching up on all my reading. As I looked at the stack of books that I have to read this morning I very grudgingly got up and went to work. On my way this morning I decided that if I couldn’t go on Spring Break in reality I could in my mind.

So in my mind I am at home, a stack of books at my side, junk food in the kitchen and ready for spring break.

My Spring Break Reading is the following:

Pleasure Unbound Larissa Ione

Desire Unchained by Larissa Ione

Eternal Rider by Larissa Ione

Into the Night by Janelle Denison

Mesmerized by Lauren Dane

DragonFire Kiss by Deborah Cooke

Dreams of a Dark Warrior by Kresley Cole

The Art of Seducing a Naked Werewolf by Molly Harper

If you were on Spring Break this week what would you be reading? One lucky commenter will receive a Spring Break Goody bag from me.

I dont believe I have ever had a spring break break! LOL But I am reading It Happened One Season. By four wonderful authors. After that, I have a list. But I think it will be Shana Galen…The Making of a Gentelman. After that, no idea. Long list, full shelves. And a list of ‘wants’ too!! LOL I still have gift cards from my birthday too! 🙂

No spring brake here in Holland, but a long weekend coming up for Eastern, going away with my boyfriend, mmm.

The books I want to read this week:
J.R. Ward – Lover unleashed. I have read good and bad reactions, so I am curious.
Susan Wittig Albert – Holly Blues
    Anne Bishop – Sebastian
    Anne Bishop – Belladonna
    Melissa Mayhue – Highlanders Curse

Reading the latest Annette Blair – Vampire Dragon at the moment. So funny, and steamy.

Would that include a Spring Break w/o kids? 😉 I’m so behind on series that I might never catch up, but I’ve been meaning to start Lords of Satyr, Midnight Breed, something from Gena Showalter or Rebecca Royce and that’s the tip of my teetering bookberg LOL.

CK I like your style…I will be getting 10 days with no DH or oldest son this summer as they will be at Scout Camp..

I just started the Lords of Satyr series, it is different but I am enjoying it so far. I love the Midnight Breed Series. My favorite Gena Showalter series is the Lords of the Underwold.

Jane I LOVE LOVE LOVE Tara Janzen. She is even awesome in real life 🙂

I recently picked up Kushiel’s Chosen then realised it was #2 in the series. I would start with Kushiel’s Dart then go through a few more. Maybe mix it up with Krentz’s “Fired Up” and Chase’s “The Werewolf Upstairs”.

A friend of mine has had nothing but great things to say about Molly Harper’s books. I really need to get myself a copy of that one.

I’m actually in the process of rereading the entire Psy-Changeling series by Nalini Singh so I’d probably go with that. If I finished those, I have Robyn Carr’s Virgin River series to catch up on too.

I would read the Larissa Ione Demonica series books. I just started reading her and so far I love her books. I have to finish getting all of her Demonica series so that I can start at the beginning and read them all in order.
