The Art of Seducing a Naked Werewolf
Series: Naked Werewolf bk 2
Molly Harper
Generations of werewolves have been secretly residing in a secluded valley a stone’s throw from Grundy, Alaska. So when a snooping Outsider comes to Grundy to investigate rumors of lycanthropic shenanigans in the area, the valley’s pack alpha, Maggie Graham, resolves to chase him away, even if doing so takes a quick bite on the butt. What a pity that researcher Nick Thatcher turns out to be so drool-worthy, and that his kisses make Maggie want to sit up and beg. Maggie just can’t seem to convince Nick to leave . . . and even worse, she can’t convinceherself to stay away from him. Cross-species dating is problem enough for a harried alpha female, but on top of that, a rival group of werewolves is trying to move into the valley. With interpack war threatening, Maggie can’t afford to be distracted. Combining romance and a career can be tough for anyone; for a werewolf in love with a human, it may be disastrous. . . .
I have had this book sitting on my nightstand for a while now. While I kept meaning to read it, it kept getting buried underneath other books that were sent to me. As I was cleaning up the piles on my nightstand I saw it and decided to pick it (instead of cleaning). This book is one of the funniest books that I have read. I had to keep reading it, even when it was time to turn the light off I couldn’t put it down, which really aggravated Mike as I was laughing so hard the bed was shaking, thus preventing him from sleeping.
This book is written entirely in the first person so we only get Maggie’s point of view, which is okay because her point of view is so skewered that it all makes perfect sense.
Maggie is the younger sister of Connor from How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf, and the new Alpha of their pack. When Connor calls to tell her that there is a guy in Grundy asking questions about the wolf attacks the previous year, and how he thinks there are werewolf’s in the area, it puts her in a rather nasty mood.
What she wasn’t expecting was to find him so darn cute and appealing. If it wasn’t for the fact that he is human, and wants to study were’s she would go after him.
What happens from that moment on till she decides to go after her heart is one of the best and funniest stories. From Nick thinking that Mo is the werewolf to Maggie biting his ass, to their wedding this is one book that will keep you turning the page.
