Thoughts: Let me just say I am a fan of Lia Davis – I have read most of the books in the Ashwood Falls series. When it came to reading A Leopard’s Path, however, it almost felt like I was reading a completely different author. My main issue though was the fact that it just felt very jumbled and convoluted – even as a fan of this series, I felt a little confused and a lot lost, and the flow of the book just seemed….off. I can only imagine someone coming into this book having read none of the previous ones. Definitely not what I have come to expect from this author.
I definitely recommend for new readers that you start with the beginning of the series before you even think of grabbing this one.
This one was a miss for me in the series, but I will still be grabbing other titles from this author. And yes, that includes the next book in the series!
