Thoughts:  This is not my first novel by Kelsie Leverich – in fact, I snagged one of her books (A Valentine’s Day Arrangement) a few months ago for Valentine’s Day and I enjoyed it so much!  So when I came across this one, I was eager to get started on it.  Unfortunately, this one did not have quite the same spark – at least for me.

The author’s talent is still there, and I still love her writing style – but I just didn’t connect as much with the characters or the story overall in this one.  Something just seemed a little off about the characters, and they weren’t quite as vibrant and relatable as the characters in the other book.  As usual, the scenes are scorchingly hot, though….:)  And even though it is part of a series, it is completely stand alone.
