I enjoy a story that has a bit to do with the exchange of text messages (or emails). I think this allows a person/character to be more open and daring, more their true self as well.
Mavericks love for and commitment to his sister endears you towards him. You also have to respect his desire to protect Delaney from the trouble he’s gotten himself into. Delaney’s heart is mending from a betrayal and she doesn’t want another relationship, especially with an athlete. The persistence and stalking and just plain cuteness of our leading man will wear her down and change her mind.
Fast forward and in true IMM fashion, we received our HEA and this story will “give you everything you could ever want, body and soul.”! <swoon>
With an awesome host of supporting characters, we have at least one more book to impatiently wait for involving the Waylon Wildcats! I BET YOU we will see Ryker’s story next! 😉
