emotional first installment of Tracy Lorraine’s new spinoff trilogy of her
Falling series.
Thoughts: Honestly, I had trouble getting into these books. There is a lot of emotion coming from the characters, but we don’t get a lot of explanation on the reasons for that emotion. Ben in particular, was just angry and kind of a jerk. The characters are immature, Lauren in particular, which makes it difficult to connect with them. The books also leave off on a cliffhanger, with readers of the series avidly waiting for the final installment. So, if you’re the type of reader that has to have all the books already out before starting a series, hold off on these for a little bit longer.
Personally, I wasn’t invested enough to want to continue on with the trilogy. Just not for me.
