TBRG Holiday Recipe Exchange ~ Sopapilla Cheesecake from TBRG’s Jeananna
Today’s recipe comes from Jeananna
This one is always always always a family and crowd favorite!! But its pretty hard to beat 2 sticks of butter and cream cheese!
2 rolls of crescent rolls
1 stick of butter – softened
1 stick of butter – melted
1 cup of sugar
1 – 8oz cream cheese
Preheat oven to 350. Spray bottom of 9×13 cake pan. Press one roll of crescent rolls into the bottom to form crust. Mix together the cream cheese, sugar and softened butter. Spread this on top of the crescent rolls. Sprinkle with a little bit of cinnamon sugar.
Roll out and slightly hand stretch the other roll of crescent rolls to form the top crust and place on top of the cream cheese mixture. Pour 1 stick of melted butter on top of the crescent rolls. Sprinkle with lots of cinnamon sugar. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
