Thoughts: I always enjoy books by Lauren Layne….she always seems to have something new or different to set her books apart from all the rest. I can honestly say I have never read a book like this one. It was intriguing, fascinating, and you just had to see what happened and how the story plays out. Ian, of course, is a bit of a player, but he’s blindsided by Lara for multiple reasons. And Lara is one of those strong female characters that is just a joy to read. This one is not just recommended, but a must read!
