A must read for anyone who loves fun and charming historicals what a way to begin a new series!
I fell in love with Honoria and Marcus from the get-go, nothing like having that pesty sibling wanting to do everything with you and Marcus being so gracious and kind, he is just asking for trouble. Fast forward several years and Marcus has not changed much, he is still that ever watchful, courteous guy who wants to make sure that Honoria does not make the wrong choice when choosing a husband. Except now he finds that he wants no one else around her but him, he will do anything for Honoria even if it means sitting through her musical performance or facing her long lost brother. It took Honria a little longer to realize her true feelings for Marcus, actually she almost loses him, but in the end she realizes she can never let him go.
I loved watching their relationship grow from children to adulthood. The story was full of humor and the rest of the characters in the story were intriguing. I can’t wait for more.
Grade A-
I ADORED this book! Like you, I fell for Marcus and Honoria right at the beginning. They were so perfect for each other.
