Series: Killer Instincts Book #6
Author: Elle Kennedy
Genre: Romance, Romantic Suspense
Blurb: Former CIA agent Bailey Jones has spent months trying to forget her night of passion with mercenary Sean Reilly. An elite and methodical assassin, she has no room in her life for a reckless, rule-breaking Irishman, and she’s vowed to steer clear of the tempting bad boy who lured her into his bed under false pretenses.
When Sean is implicated in the robbery of a Dublin bank, Bailey knows something isn’t right. So what if she can’t trust him? There’s no way Sean would end up on the wrong side of the law. In fact, he’s stuck in the middle of a dark and dirty conspiracy that could put his twin brother’s life at risk with one wrong move. And Bailey’s life too when she agrees to help.
As the stakes are raised and Bailey finds herself torn between two brothers, the fine line between danger and desire is crossed…and it’ll take more than a killer instinct to survive.
Thoughts: I just recently discovered this series, and I am now a huge fan of Elle Kennedy! Even for her, though, this one was absolutely AMAZING! This one has to be my absolute favorite from this series so far! Of course, that may be because I am a total sucker for unrequited love….and the fact that Sean is a twin? And he thinks that Bailey is in love with his brother? And he stole a night of passion with her while letting her believe he was his brother? Only made this book that much sweeter for me. This book is pretty much tailor made for me!….LOL
I absolutely could not get enough of this book! The romance, the action, the strong characters…not to mention that unrequited love? This book was just perfect from beginning to end. I have pretty much labeled Elle Kennedy the Queen of Romantic Suspense….each book features everything you could want in RS title! She manages to weave so many different characters, an action packed story line, and complex storylines so effortlessly – and still manage to make each book capable of standing on their own! One of the best authors out there, I must say.
Definitely a must read book! I guarantee this one will make it into my top reads for this year!
