Moonlight on Nightingale Way by Samantha Young

moonlight on nightingale wayTitle: Moonlight on Nightingale Way
Series: On Dublin Street bk 6
Author: Samantha Young
Genre: Contemporary

Logan spent two years paying for the mistakes he made. Now, he’s ready to start over. He has a great apartment, a good job, and plenty of women to distract him from his past. And one woman who is driving him to distraction…

Grace escaped her manipulative family by moving to a new city. Her new life, made to suit her own needs, is almost perfect. All she needs to do is find her Mr. Right—or at least figure out a way to ignore her irresistible yet annoying womanizer of a neighbor.

Grace is determined to have nothing to do with Logan until a life-changing surprise slowly begins turning the wild heartbreaker into exactly the kind of strong, stable man she’s been searching for. Only just when she begins to give into his charms, her own messy past threatens to derail everything they’ve worked to build.

Thoughts: It’s always sad when an author ends a series, especially one you love. On Dublin Street is one of my favorite contemporary series so I was really sad to see it end bit the way in which it happened was awesome.

I will say that as much as I loved Logan in this story, Grace totally stole the show in this book. She was awesome and didn’t put up with Logan and his crap at all. And when it looks like she’s getting more attached than he is, she does what’s best for her. Even as it rips her heart out.

One of the things that I love about this series is the amazing group of secondary characters in it and the love and support they give the man characters. Logan has the support of the group of characters that makeup the first five books in the series and Grace brings a new set of characters who I have to say freaking rock.

I loved how we got to catch up with everyone and see where they are all at in their lives.

Logan and Grace journey is full of awesome banter, the first time they actually met is awesome, lots of frustration on Logan’s end, and Grace doing what she feels is best for all of them, even when Logan doesn’t agree.

As always the writing is spectacular and the story one that could happen to anyone we know.

If you’ve never read a book in this series you can still pick this one up, though I do recommend that you go back and read them all because they rock.
