Thoughts: Out of all the books in the series, this one felt just a little off to me.  I liked the story, I liked the characters, but it seemed off-kilter.  Part of it was due to the fact that we had our first female character that is already married….to someone else.  Not a deal breaker – however, it wasn’t addressed as much as I feel it should have been in the book.  There was even a block of time that passes in which you would assume she makes the break from her relationship, but no.  It just didn’t seem like enough of a big stumbling block for our couple.

The rest of the story was great – how they meet, fall in love, get their HEA.  I felt like the marriage to someone else was unnecessary – it just didn’t play a big enough role in the book to make it worth writing it in – for me anyway.  Maybe if the guy was just her boyfriend it would have fit a little better, but it just made me feel like it was a jigsaw puzzle that didn’t fit together.

Overall, it was just okay – parts of it worked for me, parts of it didn’t.  It’s probably my least favorite of the series thus far, but still a decent read.
