Favorite quote(s): “I’m going to touch you like you’re mine, until one day you eventually accept that you are.”

Thoughts: When I grabbed the newest edition of the Calendar Boys series and started reading, I was a little worried….out of all the books thus far, Mr. May feels the most like a New Adult book – which is not one of my favorite genres.  The characters are young and involved in some way with professional surfing.  A few times in the beginning, I was tempted to put it down and move on….the only reason I didn’t was this author.  I know her writing style by now, and I know she has the talent to pull this off.  And I’m glad I did….I wound up being charmed by this story.  There was a depth to it that most NA books don’t have, and the characters – while young – also had a maturity that made this book work.  The book simply got better the further along it went.

This wound up being one of the many favorites in this series, and I encourage readers to grab this one and give it a try!
