ABRAHAM DAVIS—Honest Abe to his friends—IS IN OVER HIS HEAD…
He’s a fixer and a do good-er. The all-knowing, resident “grandfather” on the wrestling team who everyone relies on to fix their problems. His teammates go to him for everything; advice, homework, or when they need a sober driver at three in the morning–whether he likes it or not.
Abe’s current mission is easy: mend his roommates broken heart by helping him find a girlfriend on the LoveU app–without getting caught in the lie…
SKYLAR GABRIEL. IS. OVER. IT.
Over her bad grades. Over her meddling older brother and his two best friends. And over dating douchebags. What she wants to know is: where have all the nice guys gone?
She longs for a handsome, sweet, and honest guy who can make her laugh. In one last ditch effort to prove that he exists—Skylar turns to LoveU.
On her worst day, Skylar has no filter (it’s a miracle she hasn’t been ditched mid-date).
On her best, she’s as wholesome, and sweet, as pie.
On Thursday? She matches with Abraham Davis’s roommate.
Skylar Gabriel is falling for the wrong guy—she just doesn’t realize it yet.
Why?
BECAUSE ABE DAVIS IS A LIAR.

Review:
I couldn’t wait for this book! I love the whole Douchebag Series and was so excited when Sara announced she was adding more to the series; her books are always the perfect mix of funny and romantic.
In The Lying Hours, we meet the next wave of students and Wrestlers at the University. Abe and Skylar made a really cute couple. Abe was kind and loyal. So loyal in fact some of his teammates took advantage of his kindness, especially his roommate JB. JB has gotten Abe to manage his profile on the University dating app. Abe, being the good friend that he is, agrees to find JB’s matches and initiate the first contact, then JB arranges to meet the girls for a date. Side note: JB is the worst! I really didn’t like him at all. The plan was all going fine until Skylar joined the dating app. She was the perfect girl…for Abe.
Skylar was totally my kind of girl. She wasn’t into partying. She’s fun and feisty and just looking for a good guy. After some encouragement from her friends she joins the dating app and thinks she meets the perfect guy…..
It took them a while to figure it out, but once they did Abe and Skylar made a really great couple. This was not my favorite of the Douchebag books, but it was cute, funny and a quick read. My favorite part was the cameo of Douchebags past.
