BlurbWhen Zac Ryan is roped into replacing an absent guest on a Chicago radio talk show, he decides to have some fun. After all, he’s Australian, on vacation, and fellow host Cassie is something else. So when their chemistry burns up the airwaves, it’s a no-brainer to come back for a few more shows.

But the difference between Cassie’s sexy on-air personality and her prickly, professional off-air self makes Zac wonder which side of her is real — and whether he’s the man to find out.

Thoughts:  For me, the book was a bit slow getting started.  The book had them really being attracted to each other right from the start – so much so that they extend Zac’s stay on the show.  But for me you just didn’t “feel” the chemistry.  Their on-air banter also progressed more throughout the book, so much so that you began to look forward to the moments when they were “on” – teasing everyone with their innuendos and comments.

Cassie’s pain from her prior relationship, and her wariness of making another mistake, really came through.  And Zak was just a really good guy that really worked to win her over.  There were a few appearances of Cassie’s ex-husband (told in his POV), which really didn’t add or take away anything to the storyline, at least for me.  Although, I was glad when his new “fiancé” found him out as the liar he really was.  And the added addition of Zak’s ex-fiancé rather annoyed me, because it was obvious from the get-go what game she was playing.

All in all, the storyline was a bit predictable, but it was a nice romance.
