And once again I finish a J. Daniels book and my heart if full, I am excited about what I read, and the people that she brought to life for me (again). All I want is to read more and more and more!
3 years into their relationship, Mia and Ben are married with one kiddo on summer break from school and a 2 yr old and a demanding job that has Ben working the night shift. This was a truly realistic view of what life is like for a passionate couple who are constantly interrupted/cock blocked at every encounter! All you want is some one on one time but then a baby is sick and crying and the wakes up the other child… and man oh man I remember the days of the ‘family bed’. This book is also sprinkled with the humor and wit and banter that we have come to expect from Ms Daniels (when the lady hollered ‘stop thief’ during one particularly steamy scene I had to LOL).
What this story did is make me turn back to the first book Where I Belong and reread all the good parts! ie. the opening bar scene, the desperate separate car ride to get to each other… The story also set the scene for CJ and Riley’s story – cannot wait to see how Reed handles that hookup!
