Series: Lords of Deliverance Book #6
Stand Alone Title: recommended in order
Author: Larissa Ione
Genre: Paranormal Romance
Blurb: HELL HATH NO FURY . . .
For five thousand years, Revenant believed he was alone in the world, a fallen angel beyond any redemption. Now he finds he has a twin brother who had all the light and love Revenant was denied. Caught in a tug of war between Heaven and Hell, he must weigh his thirst for revenge against his desire for a mysterious female named Blaspheme—a female whose very origins could deliver him into salvation . . . or destruction.
LIKE AN ANGEL SCORNED
Blaspheme has a deadly secret: she’s the forbidden offspring of an angel and a fallen angel. Hunted by both heavenly and satanic forces, she has survived only by laying low and trusting no one. When Revenant claims he can save them both, how can she possibly believe him? But the powerful angel is persistence incarnate and for Blaspheme, there’s no place she can hide in Heaven or Hell where he won’t find her.
Favorite quote(s)/excerpt(s): “Confidence is arrogance without an a@$hole.”
If he’d known that getting naked was all it took, he’d have pulled a Magic Mike the first time he met her.
Thoughts: Larissa Ione is one of my one-click authors. Every book she writes is like pure gold in written form. I’ve read the Lords of Deliverance since book one, and this series puts to mind another of my favorite authors Sherrilyn Kenyon – if you like Kenyon’s Dark Hunter series, you would love the Lords. The world is so amazing and complex with Ione’s unique twist. Every book in the series is good, but I think this one is my favorite so far. I loved Blaspheme and Revenant as characters and loved the chemistry they had. Not to mention, Revenant is one of those tortured souls that gets you so wound up emotionally and so invested in his character that it tips the whole book from great to amazing. And his desire for Blaspheme? So hot!
You can’t help but love this one! An ‘A’ for sure!
