Review – Swear by Adriana Locke

Title: Swear

Series: Landry Family book 4

Author: Adriana Locke

BLURB

Ellie Pagan has a list of reasons to stay away from Ford Landry.

It’s a mile long and was so much easier to stick to when he was a world away. Now that he’s standing in front of her—body hard and chiseled from a stint in the military, suit cut to perfection, and a smirk she could never resist—remembering all the reasons why just got a whole lot harder.

Ford gets Ellie isn’t his biggest fan. He just doesn’t care.

Standing in front of him, giving him hell, she’s even prettier than he remembered. All he can think about is how she felt in his arms, the taste of her kiss, the sound of her giggle in the middle of the night. He may not know how to win her back, but he does know this: he may have let her go once, but that’s one mistake he won’t make again.

SWEAR is a heartfelt and steamy standalone romance.

Andrea’s Thoughts –

Damn those Landry’s are some swoon worthy men! With each book in this series, I swoon a little bit harder and fall even more in love with the Landry family. Ford is everything I expected him to be. From the previous books, you know Ford has come home from serving his country, and is a little bit broken hearted. I have been dying to know his whole story.

Ford is everything you have come to expect from a Landry man. He’s loyal, confident, sweet with the perfect amount of alpha, sexy as hell, and a bit more levelheaded than his brothers. He has always felt a little different than his siblings, which is why he chose to forge his own path and join the military. But was it worth breaking the heart of the only girl he ever really loved?

After some meddling from his siblings, Ford sees Ellie again and realizes he will do whatever it takes to win her back. I love Ellie. She is kind, loving, and so relatable. I love how down to earth she is and her passion for giving back to others. She is Ford’s perfect match. He knows it and she knows it. But because of the way he left her in the past, she is hesitant to try again. Ford doesn’t let that stop him… He is a Landry after all 😉 so you can bet there are some steamy moments. Their love story is one of forgiveness and second chances. There’s no crazy drama, just two people finding their way back to each other. I loved the memories of their past, especially how they met. Did I mention there’s more of the whole Landry family? With every book I love this family more and more. They step up and support each other when it’s needed, relentlessly tease, and love each other too. All the siblings make an appearance and there are some big things happening for some of the couples and the whole Landry family. This series keeps getting better and better! I can’t wait for more.
