Thoughts: I’ll be the first to say that romantic suspense is not my first, ‘go to’ genre to read. No matter what Katie Reus writes, however, she tempts me to read it!…:) One thing I love about her Red Stone Security series is that even though it is part of a series, they are all read easily as a stand alone. They are romantic suspense that is easy to read with a huge focus on the characters and their emotions, and not overly complex. Don’t get me wrong, I like a good complex, romantic suspense occasionally, but every now and then you want that edge but with a lighter feel to it. And Reus’ books really fit the bill!
