Thoughts: “Because, Ivy Hayes, I’m the guy who wants more.” – If you happen to be looking for your next book boyfriend, look no further!  Becket is the embodiment of the perfect alpha male….I genuinely loved his character, and it is not that often that you find a story line where the male is the one looking for something more permanent.  The author struck a great balance with that!….Becket wasn’t some virginal guy, but he wasn’t just out for a hook up either.  Becket remained true to his self, knew what he wanted, and set out to get it – with no holds barred.  The chemistry between Becket and Ivy was palpable.  I loved Becket’s patience which allowed Ivy the chance to heal from her past.  He is just one of the sweetest, truest, sexiest heroes that I’ve read in a good long while.  And Ivy was the perfect foil for him.  I was fascinated from the start with this couple.  Not to mention, the romance was a slow, seductive simmer that just builds up with every page…and ends with a great HEA!  I LOVED IT!
