Jackson never thought he’d see the mystery woman from his one night stand again, but when their paths cross for a second time, neither one knows what to do about their growing attraction.
Jackson is still caught up in the woman who broke his heart.
Katie isn’t interested in no strings attached, but she can’t seem to get Jackson out of her mind.

Jackson wants a friend with benefits.
Katie needs him to keep it in his pants.

Will Katie give in to temptation and find herself back between his sheets? Or will Jackson find a way to move on from the hurt in his past and give her something real?

Favorite quote(s)/excerpt(s):  His eyes find mine and he stares hard.  “You’re the only hot date I’ve had in a long time.”

I swallow deeply, trying to push down the lump in my throat.  “Were the others all ugly then?”

Thoughts: This addition to the Calendar Boys series was a really sweet, fun romance.  I enjoyed the characters a lot, particularly Katie.  She was just a cool chick – even though she had feelings for Jackson early on, she never really pushed him into a relationship.  I also liked Jackson’s character – while he was broody and depressing at times, he was also fun and engaging.

My only complaint is I felt like there needed to be a better transition from Jackson’s end on when things turned around with Katie from friends to love interest.  The start of that was always there, but I felt the need for more build-up on Jackson’s perspective.  He’s a bit slow to come around, and then makes an abrupt switch after seeing his ex – which he’s still somewhat hung up on up to that point.  I understand getting closure, however I think the cheating with his best friend was enough closure and the whole seeing the ex-fiancé again was unnecessary.  I just felt like there should have been a more distinctive change for Jackson – it almost felt Katie was accepted as second best.

Everything else for me was great – I loved the witty banter between the characters, I enjoyed a lot of the interactions with side characters in the story, etc.

I devoured the whole series (up until July, the most recent release) in less than a week.  I am anxiously awaiting Mr. AugustMr. February was a great addition to the series, and I highly recommend the whole series!
