But with the immortal world’s answer to law enforcement hunting them, their time together is running out . . . and Paul and Jeanne Louise will need to risk everything to spend an eternity together.

Lynsay Sands writes one of the best vampire series being published today. The characters are unique and often times get themselves into hilarious situations, which is what has kept me coming back book after book.

When I read the excerpt for this book I knew I was going love it. And I did. In fact I think it may be my favorite book in the series..ok my second favorite book because Single White Vampire was flat out hilarious.

One of the things I really liked about this book was that it wasn’t a dark and serious book. Yes the reason why Paul wants and needs his daughter made is very serious, but Lynsay does a great job of writing it so that you feel it.

I really liked how Paul and Jeanne were together as well. Once Jeanne realized why Paul did what he did she was on board, especially once she met his daughter. As they travel and work together to save his daughter their feelings for each other grow stronger. Some of the things that happen to them as they try and avoid her family who is looking for her are really funny, and remind me so much of family road trips 🙂

As I said earlier this is one of my favorite books in the series and one that will be read more than once of that I can guarantee.

Grade A
