Thoughts: I am a huge fan of Katie Reus, though this is my first foray into her Darkness series. While it was still great, I have to say that it is not my favorite series of hers (though I am looking forward to more from Bo and Nyx! Talk about secondary characters that steal the scenes!) I love the idea of mates and not being able to deny the person your supposed to be with – although I love when they fight their hardest to try! It’s kind of cute that Keelin has no idea at first that Bran even sees her as his mate…until he comes after her and makes it absolutely clear. I also loved their different ‘mating’ habits – for instance, Bran’s is a visible almost ‘golden fire’ that coats the furniture, walls, etc. Very unique. Never a disappointment from Katie Reus!
I’m eagerly looking forward to Bo and Nyx’s story!
